Victorian Gut Centre’s by-laws set a clear process for the initial accreditation, renewal (re-accreditation), and defining the scope of clinical practice for medical practitioners providing services to patients at the facility.

This process ensures that all medical professionals who are accredited, or seek accreditation, have the necessary training, experience, and skills to deliver safe and effective care to our patients.

Credentialing and defining the scope of clinical practice are governance responsibilities of the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) and may be delegated as appropriate.
